Course Overview

What You’ll Learn

Understand child development, play, and early learning frameworks
Plan and implement effective activities in early years settings
Develop strong communication and safeguarding practices
Promote children’s health, well-being, and inclusive learning

Course Format

Live Online – Attend weekly interactive sessions led by qualified tutors. Submit assignments and receive personalised feedback through your student portal.

The next Level 3 cohort will meet live online Wednesdays from 4pm GST to 7pm GST with English and Arabic speaking tutors.

These sessions are part of your course and give you regular tutor guidance, structure and support throughout the qualification.

Duration

Approx. 9–12 months. To achieve the full qualification, you’ll also need to complete at least 350 placement hours in an approved early years setting.

Assessment

You will create a portfolio of evidence which will include

Written assignments
Workplace observations
Professional discussions
Practical reflections

Your tutor will guide you through the process and offer detailed feedback along the way.

Entry Requirements

To enrol, you must:

Be at least 16 years old
Have a good command of English (spoken and written)
Be willing to arrange and complete your placement hours independently
2 years experience or 9 months experience plus a NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate
