It's ideal for those who already know Levels 1 & 2 and want to enhance clarity and purposeful communication using Stages 5 and 6 of the Core Vocabulary.

What You’ll Learn

This course builds on Level 1 & 2 and includes:

• Reviewing and consolidating Levels 1 & 2 vocabulary

• Learning signs and symbols from Stages 5 & 6 plus advanced techniques in symbol analysis

• Exploring how to adapt information for communication that's accessible and meaningful to core users

• A comprehensive workshop manual and Certificate of Attendance provided

 

Course Format

Live Online via Zoom — two interactive sessions, each four hours long. Both sessions must be attended to qualify for certification.

The course runs over 2 days with 4-hour sessions each day.

 

Assessment

You’ll receive a Certificate of Attendance based on your participation. Keep this certificate if you wish to progress to Level 4.

 

Entry Requirements

You must have completed Makaton Level 2 and hold a valid certificate of attendance to enrol in this course.
