About the event
Understanding how children develop is central to effective practice. While every child is unique, research shows that boys’ and girls’ brains develop differently, with boys often benefiting from more movement-based learning due to early right-brain development linked to physical activity.
This course invites practitioners to reflect on how these developmental differences influence engagement, behaviour, and learning. It encourages us to consider how we can adapt our predominantly female environments to better accommodate boys’ needs—creating more balanced, responsive, and inclusive settings where every child can thrive.
