Level 2 Certificate Introducing Caring for Children and Young People

To better serve your needs and give you more flexibility, we are now offering 2 separate sessions for the NCFE CACHE Level 2 course. This allows you to choose the time that works best for your schedule.

CACHE Level 2 Certificate Introducing Caring for Children and Young People is suitable for people who wish to work as a teaching assistant in an early years setting and progress to joining the CACHE Level 3 Diploma in the future.

 

The Level 2 Certificate is also very supportive to first-time parents or nannies wishing to learn during the course. You will learn about how to support children. Learn about child development, the importance of play, how to support children's learning experiences, and much more.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements to this course.  Learners must be at least 16 years old.

How will I be assessed?

All units covered during the course will be internally assessed using a range of methods. This will include a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or tasks. Students must have access to a laptop and Internet.

What can I do after this course?

Upon achievement of this qualification, learners can progress into various job roles such as teaching assistant in a nursery or Early Years classroom in a school.
