The Level 2 Certificate is very supportive to first time parents or nannies wishing to learn during the course.  You will learn about how to support children.  Learn about child development, the importance of play, how to support children's learning experiences and much more.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements to this course.  Learners must be at least 16 years old.

How will I be taught and what will I learn?

Learners will be taught in a classroom setting or online via Zoom by an experienced and knowledgeable tutor. They will learn about the child development, the importance of play, how to support children's learning experiences and much more.

How will I be assessed?

All units covered during the course will be internally assessed using a range of methods. This will include a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or tasks. Students must have access to a laptop and Internet.

​

What can I do after this course?

Upon achievement of this qualification, learners can progress into various job roles such as teaching assistant in a nursery or Early Years classroom in a school.
