Level 2 Certificate Introducing Caring for Children and Young People (Self-paced Session)

This means you can begin the course anytime—no fixed start date—and move through the content at your own pace.

Whether you prefer to study a little each day or dedicate larger chunks of time on weekends, the choice is entirely yours.

You’ll have up to 3 months (one full term) to complete the course, giving you plenty of time to absorb the material, revisit lessons, and complete any required activities at a pace that suits your lifestyle. This format is ideal for professionals, parents, or anyone with a busy schedule who still wants to invest in their learning and development without the pressure of strict deadlines.

With full access to course content from the moment you enroll, you can take charge of your own learning journey—anytime, anywhere.

​Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements to this course. Learners must be at least 16 years old.

How will I be taught, and what will I learn?

Start Anytime: Fully Online, Self-Paced Learning. You will learn about the child development, the importance of play, how to support children's learning experiences, and much more.

How will I be assessed?

All units covered during the course will be internally assessed using a range of methods. This will include a portfolio of evidence, written assignments, or tasks. Students must have access to a laptop and Internet.

What can I do after this course?

Upon achievement of this qualification, learners can progress into various job roles, such as teaching assistant in a nursery or Early Years classroom in a school.

How does it work?

Step 1: Submit Your Application
Start by completing our application form and submitting the required documents:

Step 2: Wait for Approval
Once your application is reviewed and approved, you'll receive a notification email with instructions on how to create your online student account.

Step 3: Register & Pay
Log in to your account and use the provided link to register for the Self-Paced Level 2 Course.
Choose your preferred payment option:
✔️ One-Time Payment
✔️ 3 Monthly Installments
(Note: Registration fee is already included.)

Step 4: Start Learning at Your Own Pace
After your payment is confirmed, you'll gain full access to your Level 2 course—start anytime, from anywhere. Complete the program within 3 months at your own pace.

Step 5: Upload Assignments on a separate online learning platform
You’ll receive access to your other online learning account, where you will upload all assignments and tasks for your tutor to mark and provide feedback.
