Promoting Positive Behaviour

Course Description

This training session is based on the belief that positive behaviour is something that will support children to move towards achieving their goals. By studying child development and carefully observing the behaviour of many children, you can learn to adjust your expectations so the behaviour you expect is within the bounds of possibility for children to achieve. This course reminds practitioners of the needs of each individual child and discusses a range of strategies that can be used to promote positive behaviour. Sharing these strategies with parents and colleagues will ensure a consistent approach.
