Course Description

If we are to meet a child’s developing needs, it is essential to work in partnership with parents. Parents are the expert on their child, while we are the experts on early years child development. This course explores how we can respect these two different perspectives and work together to make the learning environment the best for every child. We will discuss systematic early intervention processes and practices to put into place to help a child who has learning delays and how to work with parents to make early intervention successful.
