Course Description

Children learn best when their learning is linked and stories are a great way to develop understanding in all areas of the curriculum. Through stories mathematical concepts can be introduced, explored and developed in a fun way that children can relate to. This course introduces you to delightful stories that can be used to introduce numbers, shape, space and measures as well as activities that you can use to develop children's mathematical thinking and language. Children should not spend too much time sitting passively on the carpet but instead be actively learning through story and rhyme.
