Getting it Right for Boys

Course Description

While every child is unique, there is clear evidence that boys and girls brains develop differently, and that boys need to be more active. The right side of a boy’s brain, the side connected with movement, is more developed than the left side at birth; this leads boys to learning better while moving. This course looks at the brain development of boys and how we can best understand and meet their learning needs, and increase our understanding of how we can adjust our all-female environment to make it more accommodating to the boys in our care.
