Over the next three terms we are going to offer a series of linked CPD courses related to Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). If you want to learn more about inclusive practice and how to support your children and families with SEND these are the courses for you. While the courses will not qualify you to work as a SENCO in your setting, they will help you build up your knowledge of inclusive practice and learn about strategies for managing behaviour that are good for all children.
It is not good to label young children, but focused early intervention and working in partnership with parents and other professionals can make a big difference to a child. Each session will be a mixture of theory and practical suggestions for effective classroom practice.
You will receive a Quest folder with course handouts and each week you will be sent extra resources to put into your folder so it will build up to be an important tool for you.
