Sarah Rogers BA (Hons) with Cert. of Education B. Philosophy MA in Education

Sarah has been teaching in primary schools for over 20 years and teaches the Diploma and MQSCS courses and oversees all other courses. She has extensive experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and The British National Curriculum, teaching both in the UK and overseas. Sarah has worked with teaching assistants both as a partnership in the classroom and in her role as Deputy Head.  Sarah has lead extensive in-service courses both to teachers and teaching assistants in different schools and nurseries and is lead tutor for early years courses.

Cathleen O’Connor B.Ed M.Ed

Cathleen O’Connor has been a teacher for 20 years, 16 of which were spent working in the field of Special Educational Needs/ Learning Support. She has taught across all primary levels from Fdn-Yr.6 and taught at secondary level for 6 years. Cathleen has worked with children with a range of learning differences from dyslexia to autistic spectrum disorders and has broad experience of working with children with speech and language delays. She has designed and presented workshops and training courses to teachers in Dubai on a range of topics including the Jolly Phonics programme and how to manage learning difficulties within the classroom. 

 

Clare Napper B.Ed

Clare has been teaching in primary schools for over 15 years. She has been a class teacher working in both in Key Stage One and Key Stage Two. More recently she has been teaching in the area of Special Educational Needs/ Learning Support. In her role she has worked across the Foundation Stage, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two, leading a small team of specialist teaching assistants, working with primaryclass teachers to support different learning needs in the classroom. Clare teaches on the Level 1 and Level 2 courses.
